What is up with Solomon?? Obviously he had a full and productive life, but doesn't find any satisfaction in it. Houses, vineyards, watering forests, servants, singers, herds, flocks, silver, gold! God granted him riches and wisdom, yet he is miserable. I think it's because he went from using Godly wisdom to human wisdom. He'd tried to find meaning in alcohol, work, sex and entertainment.He stopped following God and lost meaning in his life. I know my accomplishments don't increase my standing with God, but because I strive to follow Him, I can find pleasure in the activities of my life.Life more abundant.
